The headphones employ special technologies developed in Japan, by Fostex, to ensure a wide dynamic range and an accurate soundstage with a high degree of resolution. With their comfortable earcups and eye-catching look, they're also elegant companions to any audiophile environment.
These headphones offer a significant upgrade to the TH900 headphones: the connectors are now detachable, so you can replace or swap out the cable as you see fit. This makes the headphones compatible with the company's balanced cables as well as their traditional unbalanced leads. The included unbalanced cable is made from high-quality, oxygen-free copper terminating in a gold-plated 1/4" stereo plug. Additionally, the headphones come with a stand and carrying case.
These headphones feature detachable connectors for cable replacement and are compatible with the optional balanced cable (model ET-H3.0N7BL) should you prefer to run a balanced line to your headphone amp.
These headphones offer a proprietary biodynamic 50mm diaphragm with a specially designed driver unit that offers a magnetic flux density of 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss). Not technically inclined? What this means for you is a wider dynamic range, so you can really enjoy audiophile-quality music the way it was meant to be heard.
The housing, styled here in onyx black, utilizes a traditional Japanese "Urushi" lacquer finish on Japanese cherry birch. The earpads are made of protein leather culled from eggshell membrane for maximum comfort.
