For best performance we recommend recalibrating whenever the room setup is changed.
Ideally, it should be centred evenly from the side walls, and centrally under the TV. Keep in mind that as sound is reflected from walls and ceilings, the most immersive experience is achieved in rooms without curtains, thick carpets or similar rough surfaces.
If you have acquired AMBEO Sub for extra presence and power: place it 15cm from the wall in the front of the room; this will ensure the best blending of sound between speakers and will minimize the localization effect.
If you are using multiple subwoofers (up to 4 are possible), they must be placed on one side of the wall.
The subwoofer is not mandatory as AMBEO Soundbar Plus is an all-in-one system. However, some customers may prefer the extra presence and power that AMBEO Sub is perfectly calibrated to deliver.
The calibration can be done via the app, so you need to make sure you have a wireless connection. To calibrate without the app, simply hold “+” and “–“ on the Soundbar for 3 seconds.
The room must be silent, with no external or internal noise during the process. Do not reposition the soundbar after the calibration is done.
The app will guide you to onboard the WiFi. A home network is required to connect the Soundbar via WiFi or Ethernet. A smartphone can be used to onboard the Soundbar to the network.
Please make sure you have installed the latest firmware updates and connected the soundbar to the HDMI eARC port. Please also check that your TV has not chosen to use by default ARC instead of eARC in the TV settings. If such is the case, change manually the setting to eARC.

Yes, we will add support for the following languages in the coming weeks as some of them are pending certification. There is no need for a firmware update. The language will be made available automatically via the Alexa app.
Music services such as Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal und TuneIn will be supported shortly.
