Focal has expanded its home audio collection with their Vestia line of loudspeakers. The line boasts five new products: Vestia N°1 Bookshelf, Vestia N°2, Vestia N°3, Vestia N°4, and Vestia Center. Focal is no stranger to innovation, as the company is constantly researching and developing new technologies. The Vestia line is a by-product of innovation, equipped with a 'M'-shaped dome TAM tweeter, never used before in Focal's loudspeakers.

Focal: Listen Beyond
For more than 40 years, Focal has been designing and manufacturing home audio loudspeakers, car speaker drivers and amplifiers, and monitoring loudspeakers for recording studios.
Focal designs and produces some of the world's finest loudspeakers, placing a heavy value on acoustic expertise and developing exclusive technologies. In fact, Focal is one of the few speaker companies to also manufacture its own drivers.
In 1995, Focal, known at the time as JMlab, took a leap of faith and released the Grande Utopia loudspeaker, leading to an entire generation of products. Today, Focal has nine lines of high fidelity loudspeakers within its home audio collection: Utopia III EVO, Sopra, Kanta, Aria 900, Aria K2, Vestia, Theva, Chora, Chorus 700.

Vestia: A deeper look
Focal designed the Vestia line with the goal of evoking emotion, whether in a stereo or home cinema setup. Its name inspired by the goddesses of hearth and home Vesta and Hestia — delivers Focal's signature sound and presents five new products made in France.
The Vestia loudspeakers are equipped with Slatefiber cone speaker drivers and the 'M' shaped inverted dome TAM tweeter. The TAM Tweeter is a new and welcome addition to Focal loudspeakers. Originally developed for Focal's car audio collection, the company revamped the tweeter to be used in their home loudspeakers for stereo and home cinema use. The aluminum magnesium material for the tweeter tends to have a warmer tonality which is especially great for home theater use as the recordings for movies tend to be a bit hot and are smoothed out by the tweeter.
The Vestia line also features a port toward the front for more frontal impact and a rear port for encompassing bass, which Focal says promotes a deeper soundstage.
Vestia Finishes
Each product of the Vestia line comes in three finish options: Black High Gloss, Light Wood, Dark Wood. The Vestia bookshelf and center loudspeaker feature tilted stands that Focal says enables a soundstage that is focused on the listener for even deeper immersion. Every Vestia loudspeaker includes a magnetic grille.
Vestia N°1: 2-Way Bookshelf Loudspeaker
The Vestia N°1 is designed for all music lovers and blends effortlessly into any room in your home. This 2-way high-fidelity loudspeaker incorporates Focal's Slatefiber cone driver and exclusive Aluminum-Magnesium 'M'-shaped TAM tweeter. The tweeter brings precision and softness, complimented by a urethane tweeter waveguide for a better sound image. The 6 ½" mid-bass delivers a neutral midrange and powerful bass. An aerodynamic front port at the bottom of the bookshelf loudspeaker creates low distortion, and the ultra-rigid MDF construction brings impressive neutrality and a controlled resonance.
The bookshelf has an optional stand available, tilted for time alignment to allow all frequencies to hit you at the same time. The stand sits at a height of 21 ⅝".
Vestia N°2: 3-Way Floorstanding Loudspeaker
The Vestia N°2 is a 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker that combines Focal technologies to include the Slatefiber cone driver and 'M'-shaped TAM tweeter. The 2 6 ½" Slatefiber woofers have rigid cones for a deep and powerful bass. The front and rear ports deliver no dynamic compression. The loudspeaker has an Aluminum base that's tilted for time alignment with spikes supplied for ground vibration transmission.
The Vestia N°2 combines the elegance of an understated design with the finesse of a modern high-fidelity loudspeaker, and is recommended for a listening distance of 10ft.
Vestia N°3: 3-Way Floorstanding Loudspeaker
A slender 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker, the Vestia N°3 follows the footsteps of the Aria 936 model with its linear listening and excellent neutrality. Its three bass speaker drivers deliver impressive dynamics, allowing it to present the best of home cinema and "monitoring" type stereo listening alike. The Vestia N°3 also features the Aluminum base, tilt for time alignment and spikes supplied for ground vibration transmission.
Vestia N°4: 3-Way Floorstanding Loudspeaker
The Vestia N°4 3-way floorstanding model features two 8 ¼" woofers that deliver an exceptionally deep and powerful bass. It also features the Aluminum base, tilt for time alignment and spikes supplied for ground vibration transmission. Both expressive and elegant, the Vestia N°4 is the perfect choice for music enthusiasts seeking high performance.
Vestia Center: 2-Way Central Model
The Focal Vestia Center is the center speaker in the line. It perfectly compliments a multi-channel system. The double rear port offers no dynamic compression and includes the Slatefiber cone driver and 'M'-shaped TAM tweeter featured in each product.
The tilted base supplied with the loudspeaker enhances the soundstage and allows you to enjoy a unique cinema experience at home. The Vestia Center has an optional center stand that sits at a height of 17 ¾".
