Quality You Can Trust

Most stock headphone cables are made of poor, ultra-thin conductors that work as a bottleneck for sound. Poor geometries, no shielding, rubber jackets, and a whole host of other issues in OEM cables can limit the performance of the headphone driver in terms of clarity and definition.

Dragon Cables are handcrafted from quality materials in Moon Audio's headquarters in Cary, North Carolina. All of our cables are created with ultra-pure, single-crystal silver and copper strands and engineered to provide the cleanest, most musical presentation. Our wire is void of impurities and crystalline boundaries, leaving nothing between you and your music.

Silver Dragon Sound Signature

The Silver Dragon is the original cable. Silver strands clarify instrument separation, increase soundstage, and find previously lost high and mid-frequency sounds. Transients appear more cohesive and the bass tighter for a more controlled sound. The detail and clarity of the Silver Dragon make it a perfect match for classical music and other genres with many nuanced instruments.

"The Silver Dragon JH3A Cable and Silver Dragon IEM Cable gives a +3db increase in input sensitivity across the entire frequency range and much greater detail than any other cable."

Jerry Harvey, JH Audio | RMAF 2012

Silver Dragon IEM Cable V1 uses a coaxial design, constructed with UP-OCC 99.99998% pure silver center conductor. It is then wrapped concentrically by a 15-18% ratio silver plated conductor, using the same varying size stranding and Kevlar reinforcement in both conductors that is used in other Dragon Cables. The left and right signal cables run parallel to each other, resulting in a very low inductance. Both signal paths are wrapped in a final polyethylene jacket, creating a cable that is extremely flexible yet resilient and resistant to flex failure.

A variety of connection options are available for your downstream connection such as the mini plug, RCA, XLR and many others. We custom build these cables in-house to your connection specifications. The cable can be used in either a single-ended or a balanced design. The wire is soldered to a connector using high-quality Cardas silver solder. No flimsy or stiff cables are made here at Moon Audio so throw out that cheap stock cable and bring your Custom IEMs here to Moon Audio.
