The Bronze Dragon helps create a warmer presentation with bigger and fuller body, adding bottom end strength and musicality without becoming lush or bloated. In cases where you own a bright or thin sounding IEM, the Bronze Dragon will add body to the sound. It will provide a fuller, bigger presentation to the music.
The Bronze Dragon IEM Headphone Adapter Cable is an extension for your main Bronze Dragon IEM Headphone cable to provide extra length or change terminations on the amplifier end. Adapter cables make it easier to change from one connection type to another. As more connection types become available, adapters are a great solution for on-the-go listening.

Quality You Can Trust
Most stock headphone cables are made of poor, ultra-thin conductors that work as a bottleneck for sound. Poor geometries, no shielding, rubber jackets, and a whole host of other issues in OEM cables can limit the performance of the headphone driver in terms of clarity and definition.
Dragon Cables are handcrafted from quality materials in Moon Audio's headquarters in Cary, North Carolina. All of our cables are created with ultra-pure, single-crystal silver and copper strands and engineered to provide the cleanest, most musical presentation. Our wire is void of impurities and crystalline boundaries, leaving nothing between you and your music.
Bronze Dragon Sound Signature
The Bronze Dragon is dynamic, detailed, and musical. It leans on the warm side of neutral, but is anything but dry-sounding. The Bronze Dragon makes a bold statement with a clear presentation and authority.
The smooth, musical quality of the Bronze Dragon makes it a perfect fit for headphones that tend to sound a bit edgy or bright. Despite its warmth, the Bronze Dragon does not have a laid-back, lush sound and is much closer to neutral, making it a very natural-sounding cable. As a flexible-sounding cable, it can match the sonic characteristics of your sound system.
Bronze Dragon Cable Design
The Bronze Dragon Headphone Adapter Cable offers the same wire geometry as our Bronze Dragon Headphone Cable. These adapters are utilized to create a more flexible connection system for your headphone audio system.
The Bronze Dragon Headphone Adapter Cable is a new Graphene Copper conductor-based cable featuring 4 x 99.99998% GUP-OCC Stranded Graphene and Copper 21.5 AWG Teflon-insulated stranded conductors. These conductors are free from impurities and have virtually no crystal boundaries. With almost no distortion compared to ordinary copper conductors, each conductor is made up of a special, varying-sized stranded geometry. The Graphene Copper strandings are mixed with Kevlar strands to reinforce the conductor, making it stronger overall and less prone to failure due to the harsh, constant flexing that headphone cables experience.
The wire’s geometry, along with the Graphene, helps improve conductivity. At Moon Audio, we're always striving to improve conductor conductivity, which helps provide the purest signal transmission. Each conductor is encapsulated in a Teflon casing and then surrounded by cotton and a thin layer of aluminum foil. It is then protected by a 100% coverage braided tinned copper secondary shield and placed in a polyethylene jacket for further protection. The wire is soldered to a connector using high-quality Cardas silver solder.
Redesign of the JH Audio connections and IEM sockets
The cable connections and IEM sockets of the JH Audio 4-pin connection style IEMs were also redesigned by Moon Audio. The Astell&Kern and JH Audio IEMs with the4-pinn connection style include: the Angie, Angie II, Rosie, Roxanne, Roxanne II, Layla, and Layla II, and soon to follow all custom IEMs at JH Audio. Please contact us or JH as to whether your new IEM will have this 4-pin connection. This 4-pin connection socket upgrade has improved the durability of the connections and sockets for long-term use and enjoyment.
First, we improved the threaded locking section and the nut, as we are now using anodized aluminum for durability and better tolerance. The male and female pins utilize a proprietary metal combination called ARCAP. It is essentially a high-yield copper-based metal that does not contain iron, so it is not magnetic. It also has very high tensile strength, and it is resistant to chemical corrosion. This is very important for those of you who will use the cable and IEMs at the gym or on stage if you are in a band, as it will be much more durable and resistant to flex failure from the constant movement and/or wear and tear.
What is UP-OCC?
UP-OCC stands for Ultra-Pure Ohno Continuous Casting (OCC). This is not a material, but a way of extruding silver and copper to prevent any impurities and fractures in the crystalline structure of the wire. The wire is drawn very slowly to cast as an almost perfect single-crystal small-diameter conductor. The resulting purity and the size of the cast wire make a tremendous difference, and there is less damage to the near-perfect cast state. We find that this UP-OCC process produces a very clean and close to neutral sound in our copper-based and silver-based cables.

Amplifier Connections
Three standard premolded cable options are available. These are the 3 post common options.
- 2.5mm balanced 4 pole gold straight mini plug
- For use with the balanced output of the Astell&Kern players, RAL players, and ALO amps. Entire body is molded to prevent shorting to ground of chassis.
- 3.5mm straight 3 pole stereo single ended connection
- For use with most common portable devices. Features an extended neck to accommodate phone and tablet cases with a deep connector socket hole.
- 4.4mm straight 5 pole stereo single ended connection
- For use with the Sony-devised connection becoming popular with other brands
Custom Connector Upgrade
An additional Oyaide 3.5mm Gold TRS connector option is available, picture above.
We also offer a host of custom termination options. The premolded connections are available for immediate shipment, while custom terminations require a few additional processing days.
Many of our connectors are available in both Rhodium-plated and gold-plated finishes. We find that Rhodium provides the closest synergy with silver conductor-based, and copper conductors match better with gold plating. You may notice Rhodium upgrade connectors on the Silver Dragon IEM Cables and Gold-plated connectors on the Bronze Dragon and Black Dragon IEM Cables.
