PS Audio offers a Network Bridge in both their Direct Stream DAC and Direct Stream Junior DAC. These utilize ethernet connections for data transfer from your NAS or Music Server. DACs from manufacturers like North Star Design DAC are now offering Ethernet I2S digital connections with RJ45 connectors. Moon Audio saw a need for higher quality data transfer cables over those $10 Ethernet cables offered from your local computer shop. To meet this demand, Moon Audio is now offering an Ethernet data cable made of the highest quality parts as more and more products will require this data transfer method.

Cable Design

High speed, low latency and low jitter perfect bit rate communication between these audio components can be maximized by using solid core silver conductors. The Silver Dragon Ethernet cable utilizes 8 solid core 99.999% pure silver 26AWG Teflon insulated conductors. Cable shielding is required to improve the cable's performance in high electromagnetic environments. The braided design of the cable's conductors along with the 100% braided shield to protect and ward off outside interference from its surroundings. The cable is terminated with the best available RJ45 connectors made, the Telegartner MFP8 T568B RJ-45 connector. They are precision made ultra-high bandwidth shielded connectors.
