Our new Dragon cable is musical without becoming lush or bloated and features a very flexible cable that's perfect for on-the-go applications.
Pushing the boundaries of audio cable performance, the Bronze Dragon Headphone Cable uses a new process of adding Graphene to our UP-OCC copper strandings. Graphene is a single-atom-thick, 2-dimensional material composed of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice geometry. This unique material is 200 times stronger than steel but incredibly flexible without added weight, providing a more efficient transmission of electrical signals. It adds strength, flexibility, and conductivity to the metal it is bound with. The base of the Bronze Dragon Headphone Cable is composed of OCC copper–single-crystal continuous cast copper, or Ohno Continuous Cast. OCC is a manufacturing process that prevents any crystalline fractures or minimal grain boundaries, which essentially become potholes that the electrical signal must bypass.
The copper used in the Bronze Dragon Headphone Cable is devoid of all possible impurities that can change the coloration of the sound. Knowing that all materials have different coloration and the key to keeping the tonality consistent or slightly changing the coloration is to omit other metals or add other metals to the conductor stand, Graphene was the perfect choice. This not only improved the UP-OCC material but also changed the tonality of our Dragon UP-OCC conductor, delivering increased dynamics with a very musical flavor to the sound. The Bronze Dragon Headphone Cable's sound is incredibly tight and controlled with a powerful bass response. After much R&D, we've successfully melded two tonalities into one cable, crafting a headphone cable with improved dynamics and maintained musicality–a hard feat to achieve.

Most stock headphone cables are made of poor, ultra-thin conductors that work as a bottleneck for sound. Poor geometries, no shielding, rubber jackets, and a whole host of other issues in OEM cables can limit the performance of the headphone driver in terms of clarity and definition.

The Bronze Dragon is dynamic, detailed, and musical. It leans on the warm side of neutral, but is anything but dry-sounding. The Bronze Dragon makes a bold statement with a clear presentation and authority.
The smooth, musical quality of the Bronze Dragon makes it a perfect fit for headphones that tend to sound a bit edgy or bright. Despite its warmth, the Bronze Dragon does not have a laid-back, lush sound, and is much closer to neutral, making it a very natural-sounding cable. The Bronze Dragon portable headphone cable has 8 x 99.99998% UP-OCC Stranded Copper conductors per cable. Created in the proportions, copper helps add warmth to expand and strengthen sound from bass guitars, cellos, and deep vocalists like Barry White.
Designed for portable headphones, this cable features a single-entry design for use with Sony WH-1000XM6, Sennheiser Momentum, and similar headphones from manufacturers like Bose, Ultrasone, and AKG.
What is UP-OCC?
UP-OCC stands for Ultra-Pure Ohno Continuous Casting (OCC). This is not a material, but a way of extruding silver and copper to prevent any impurities and fractures in the crystalline structure of the wire. The wire is drawn very slowly to cast as an almost perfect single crystal small-diameter conductor. The resulting purity and the size of the cast wire make a tremendous difference and there is less damage to the near-perfect cast state. We find this UP-OCC process produces a very clean and close to neutral sound in our copper-based and silver-based cables.
