Dragon Cables are handcrafted from quality materials in Moon Audio's headquarters in Cary, North Carolina. All of our cables are created with ultra-pure, single-crystal silver and copper strands and engineered to provide the cleanest, most musical presentation. Our wire is void of impurities and crystalline boundaries, leaving nothing between you and your music.
Black Dragon Sound Signature
The Black Dragon is our top-of-the-line flagship cable designed to increase musicality and provide a warmer tonality with amazing bass performance. Copper strands increase the boldness by providing more slam and attack. It smooths out and provides a more romantic sound signature. A great way to get lost in the music.
The Black Dragon pairs well with all genres, especially Classical, Blues, Rock & Roll, R&B, and anything with a toe-tapping beat like EDM and Dance music. That being said, the Black Dragon can be paired with many other genres as well. If you love to get lost in the music and want to feel like you are at the performance, then this is the cable for you. Black Dragon Cable Design
The Black Dragon Interconnect Cable is an extremely smooth, transparent, yet not overly warm cable. It's neither laid back, lush, nor dark-sounding. The Black Dragon Interconnect Cable uses the same geometry as the Blue Dragon Interconnect Cable, but with an increased conductor gauge size and switched from solid core copper to a special stranded geometry.
The strandings are all 99.9998% UP-OCC Copper. Each conductor is 22AWG in size with a double shield by both a foil and 100% multidirectional braided wire shield. It is very flexible and easy to route behind your gear. We continue to use Teflon coating, as it is an obvious best dielectric. We added an extra layer of noise protection. The geometry being one guard against unwanted outside noise interference and then an added copper 100% shield coverage. We then cover it in a protective layer of Techflex and solder your connector of choice.
