Black Dragon Mini Coax Digital Cable for Chord Mojo 2, Hugo 2 to M Scaler

This is a special version of the The Black Dragon 75 Ohm Mini Coax Digital Cable for the Chord Mojo 2 and the Hugo 2 to Hugo M Scaler. This cable is extremely flexible which makes it a perfect match for portable audio digital transmission applications like the Hugo 2. It utilizes a 3.5mm male mini plug configured for Dual Data output transmission to the Hugo M Scaler.

Cable Design

The Hugo M Scaler will allow you to upscale standard 44.1kHz digital audio up to 705.6kHz (16x CD’s 44.1kHz native resolution), ready to be passed to a suitable DAC; Hugo M Scaler extends its upscaling performance to 768kHz (from 96kHz input data) for our dual-BNC-input DACs: DAVE, Qutest and the new Hugo TT 2. The Black Dragon is the best way to integrate these products.

The Black Dragon uses a miniature 75 ohm cable geometry based on RG179 specifications. It uses a silver-plated copper 7 strand conductor, and a 100% coverage silver-plated copper shield. Both are 99.99% silver over 99.999% oxygen free slow drawn copper. The wire is soldered to the connectors with Cardas silver solder and it is then covered in 1 layer of Techflex braid to protect the geometry integrity of the cable.  We do recommend a 40 hour break-in time for the cable to truly realize the optimum sound.
