Introducing the ACS10
The Aurender ACS10 can be used as a fully-functional server and streamer controlled by Aurender Conductor, delivering a digital output via an Audio 2.0 USB port designed to be connected to an external DAC. However, the highest audio performance is achieved by connecting the ACS10 with an Aurender A10, N10, or W20 server.

The Aurender ACS10 is a device designed to completely remove the computer from “computer audio.” This has always been Aurender’s mission, but, until now, a computer was still required for CD ripping, file management, and metadata editing. No longer! With ACS10, computers and other IT products are not needed in your digital music life.
Its core functions encompass everything an audiophile needs and expects from a file-based playback system. All functionality is consolidated within the ACS10 with attention given to the simplification of the tasks at hand.
ACS10 can be used as a fully-functional server and streamer delivering pristine digital output via an Aurender’s filtered and isolated USB 2.0 audio port. However, the highest audio performance is realized when using the ACS10 mated with models A10, N10 or W20, where its CD ripping, library management, 2X isolated LAN port, and powerful processor will greatly enhance the Aurender experience.
For Aurender users seeking to add the functions of CD ripping, expanded storage and backup and metadata editing the ACS10 is the ideal companion. Customers seeking that same functionality in a stand-alone one box server/streamer solution can use ACS10 in that way as well.
Rent the Nimbie USB Plus
The Nimbie USB Plus is available to Moon Audio customers who have purchased the Aurender ACS10 Music Server and CD Ripper. Adding the Nimbie USB Plus to the ACS10 allows you to import your entire library by pressing a few buttons. The ACS10 will retrieve and integrate metadata and cover art, making the digitization of your entire collection hassle-free and hands-off.
Rental of the Nimbie USB Plus is for a 30-day term and customers must pay an additional security deposit. The deposit will be refunded once the product is returned and inspected for damage. Late fees and damages may be deducted from the deposit amount.

Importing Media
The ACS10 offers one-touch CD Ripping with meta-data and cover art retrieval and a unique user-determined target folder depository feature. The CD-ROM drive (TIAC DVD-ROM) and tray loader feature an industrial-grade design for long-term durability.
The system supports FLAC, WAV, and AIFF codecs as well as support for Nimbie Autoloader for unattended ripping.
Features
The ACS10 features file storage on dual 3.5" HDD with up to 24TB of space using Western Digital Red (8TB and 16TB) and Western Digital Gold (24TB) Enterprise Grade drives. User configurable setup options include RAID I mirroring or the total storage capacity of both hard drives. The default setting is RAID I mirroring.
The power supply is full-linear and features a supercapacitor uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for stabilizing the device in case of an abrupt power outage.
The ACS10 features a large 4" color IPS LCD display. This provides an album art view when ripping CDs and displays all system data on functions in use.
SmartMerge
The Aurender ACS10 features SmartMerge, allowing you to expand your library beyond the device. This program will identify a network-attached Aurender Server (W20, N10, A10, N100H, N100C, or X100L) and allow you to see content from both libraries in one place. Only one additional server may be viewed with this feature.
Ports
The ACS10 features three USB Hub Ports, one of which is doubly isolated. Additionally, there is one USB 2.0 port on the front panel and one USB 3.0 port on the rear panel.
Aurender Conductor App Packed with Convenient Features for Full-Function Control
The Aurender Conductor App turns the iPad into a versatile user interface for Aurender music servers. All settings and functions of the Aurender server can be easily accessed through the Settings menu, and the app comes with extensive features to make browsing and playing high-resolution music collections a breeze.
ACS Manager Companion App
ACS10 is so packed with features, we had to give it its very own app! The ACS Manager companion app is used to configure all system settings including CD ripping preferences, Smart Copy, Move, Delete, Duplicate Checker, Smart Tag Editor, and more.
State-of-the-Art Automatic CD Ripping
Aurender’s CD ripping software, which is custom engineered to work with the high-quality TEAC CD-ROM drive, yields shockingly good CD rips! Sophisticated error detection and correction ensures accurate rips for great sounding results.
Dedicated USB Audio Output Port
High-performance USB Audio Class 2.0 output allows ACS10 to function as a music server/streamer when connected to an external DAC. ACS10’s USB audio output quality is equivalent to N10’s USB audio output.
Massive HDD Storage Capacity for the Largest Music Libraries
ACS10 is available in two different dual hard drive configurations to provide enough storage for even the largest digital music libraries. 16TB or 24TB versions are factory-configured in RAID 1 mirroring meaning your actual music library storage capacity is half that, with the other half a mirrored image on a second drive. ACS10 can be user reconfigured to disregard mirroring and provide 16TB or 24TB total storage respective of model.
Linear Power Supply with Integrated UPS
Full-linear power supply plus “supercapacitor” based uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for stabilizing the ACS10 under an abrupt power outage condition.
Support for High-Resolution Formats
All major codecs supported. PCM up to 786kHz/32-bit. DSD up to 256 DoP. Native DSD up to 512.
MQA Core Decoder (optional in-app purchase)
Aurender’s optional MQA Core Decoder upgrade enables “first-level” MQA unfolding to play MQA files at up to 48 or 96 kHz.
2X Isolated LAN Port
ACS10 features 3 LAN ports, so it can be used as an Ethernet switch. One of three LAN Ports is 2X isolated – use this 2X isolated LAN port to connect to another Aurender server/player to isolate the server/player from any noise introduced by the LAN connection. If using ACS10 as a stand-alone server, use the 2X isolated LAN to connect directly to the router.
USB Connectivity
ACS10 features a USB 3.0 port for super fast copying from a USB hard drive. It also features a front-mounted USB 2.0 port (for connecting an Acronova Nimbie AutoLoader) and a filtered and isolated USB Audio 2.0 port dedicated for pristine audio.
FAQ
Q: Will ACS10 play CDs?
A: No. It was designed for bit-perfect ripping. We recommend to rip and playback file.
Q: Will the ACS10 retrieve album cover art and other meta-tag data from the internet when ripping?
A: Yes. The process is automatic.
Q: What meta-tag database does the ACS10 use?
A: It uses freeDB and MusicBrains. Google image search is employed as well.
Q: I have an N10-8TB and I am running low on storage space. Can I use ACS10 to expand the storage capacity?
A: Yes. The N10’s 8TB storage capacity and ACS10 can be combined. For example, an N10-8TB can be combined with the 16TB ACS10 creating 24TB total content capacity.
Q: I have two Aurender servers. What is the best way to use the ACS10?
For example, I have an N100H-4TB and A10-4TB. If I connect an ACS10-16TB onto my network, can my content database be 4TB + 4TB + 16TB?
A: No. If you have more than one Aurender already, it’s best to copy all your content from both existing Aurenders onto the ACS10, making it a central storage library. You can use the SmartCollect program which is provided with ACS10 to find and merge all the content from multiple Aurenders opting out of file duplication. You will be able to view the combined content of the N100H-4TB and A10-4TB on the ACS10-16TB using the Aurender Conductor App. However, you will not be able to view the A10’s local content when Conductor App is connected to the N100H and vice-versa, you will not be able to view the N100H’s local content when the Conductor App is connected to the A10
