A part of NAD Electronics' prestigious master series, the M23 HybridDigital Stereo Power Amplifier uses cutting-edge amplification technology to deliver exceptional audio performance. The M23 features Purifi Audio's Eigentakt design, a once-in-a-decade innovation that virtually eliminates harmonic and intermodulation distortion. With no audible noise, the M23 delivers a completely black background and exquisite micro details. Conservatively rated at 2x200W continuous into 8 ohms and 2x380W into 4 ohms, the M23 can deliver live performance levels through any loudspeaker. For even greater power output, it can be bridged to operate as a mono amplifier, delivering up to 700 watts into 8 ohms. With its unique combination of hi-fi features, performance, and value, the M23 represents the new benchmark for the stereo power amplifier.
Dragon Cable Recommendation: We recommend pairing the NAD M23 Stereo Power Amplifier with the Black Dragon Interconnect Cable (RCA connectors), Black Dragon Speaker Cable, and Black Dragon Power Cable. The Black Dragon Interconnect Cable with RCA connectors will allow you to connect the M23 to other devices within your setup, like preamps, Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs), and network streamers. With a braided geometry and amazing shielding, this interconnect is a remarkable solution where noise isolation is key. For use in your home theater setup, our Black Dragon Speaker Cable is the perfect fit. It's a smooth, transparent-sounding cable that falls on the warm side of neutral, yet is very dynamic. It utilizes 4 x 11 AWG ultra-pure, slow-drawn annealed and enamel-coated copper conductors that smooth out the top end while adding bottom-end weight, making the midrange sound more musical. It's a great cable for vocals and a variety of music genres. Available in a variety of lengths and terminations, the Black Dragon Speaker Cable can be configured in standard, biwire, or biwire/biamp by custom request.
Lastly, we recommend powering the unit with the Black Dragon Power Cable. The Black Dragon Power Cable is the ultimate power cable designed to be dead quiet and reject all EMI and RFI interference. 4-11Awg Stranded high purity slow drawn Copper conductors are used per cable in a star Quad configuration. The cable has a single 100% coverage shield but can be doubled up for noisy environments plus it is relatively flexible. Pair the M23 with your favorite subwoofer and you’ve got the perfect hifi setup.
Pure Power & Power with Incredibly Low Distortion
With any loudspeaker load, the ideal amplifier will achieve vanishingly low distortion, ultra-high damping factor, and rock-solid stability. The M23 employs Eigentakt class-D amplifier modules manufactured by NAD Electronics under license from Denmark's Purifi Audio. Purifi's load-invariant design provides a wide, flat frequency response with noise, harmonic distortion, and IM distortion virtually unmeasurable at all frequencies and output levels. It outperforms previous class-D implementations by a significant margin, delivering transparent, detailed sound with an expansive soundstage and holographic imaging at all listening levels and with all types of program material—even during complex musical passages. Additionally, extremely low output impedance and correspondingly high damping factor are achieved for iron-clas control of the loudspeaker output.
The Eigentakt design is paired with NAD's very own high-performance switched-mode power supply, which can provide additional reserves of current when needed. Amazingly powerful and transparent, the M23 can deliver 2x260W of peak power into 8 ohms and 2x520W into 4 ohms. Tanks to Purifi's highly efficient Eigentakt design and NAD's proven switch mode power supplies, the M23 excels in all three areas—without the excess weight and cost of the old-fashioned linear power supplies and class-AB output stages used with traditional high-end amplifiers.
Flexible and Powerful Connectivity
Equipped with single-ended RCA and balanced XLR auto-sensing inputs, three-position gain-control switch, and 12V trigger input, the NAD Masters M23 HybridDgital Stereo Power Amplifier can easily be integrated into a high-performance separates system. The compatibility and connectivity configurations for the M23 amplifier are endless. Two M23 amplifiers operating in bridged mode can be paired together, each delivering 700W of continuous power into 8 ohms. The M23 amplifier can also be paired with NAD’s award-winning Masters M33 BluOS Streaming Amplifier as well as a bluOS streaming DAC for a complete system setup. With the two Eigentakt™ amplifiers operating in bridged mode, the NAD M33/M23 combination will deliver a staggeringly powerful 700Wpc continuous output
Practical and Efficient
With its elegant all-alloy casework, the Masters M23 HybridDigital Stereo Power Amplifier is as pleasing to the eye as it is thrilling to the ears. The M23 has the same quality of construction for which NAD’s Masters Series is renowned. Rigid panels and magnetic iso-point feet provide a rock-solid foundation for the M23’s multi-layer circuit boards and intricate internal construction. Truly the M23 represents a new pinnacle in power amplifier design.
The M23's high efficiency makes it an eco-friendly choice, as it consumes less power than traditional Class AB designs of similar output. This amplifier is the perfect solution for audiophiles and music enthusiasts who demand high performance, substantial power, and very low distortion.
