These Gaia II Speaker Isolation devices are sold individually or in a pack of four, which is enough for one speaker.
Gaia II isolators are constructed of machined Stainless Steel and designed to support 120 lbs or less per pack. IsoAcoustics’ patented design provides a high degree of speaker isolation while resisting lateral movement and oscillations, to maintain alignment with the listening position. Internal reflections from the hard supporting surface are attenuated, resulting in greater sound clarity and openness. Perfect for the Bryston Middle T and Bryston Model T Speakers.
The GAIA isolators are machined units that incorporate IsoAcoustics’ patented design to provide a high degree of speaker isolation, while resisting lateral movement and oscillations, to maintain alignment with the listening position. Internal reflections from the hard supporting surface are attenuated, resulting in greater sound clarity and openness.
Improved Sound Clarity and Openness
GAIA II is designed for floor-standing speakers weighing up to 120 lbs (54Kg). Finished in an elegant, machined dark chrome metal housing, the GAIA II incorporates IsoAcoustics’ patented design principles to deliver extraordinary acoustic results. GAIA II provides a high degree of isolation while resisting lateral movement and oscillations to maintain alignment with the listening position. Internal reflections from the hard-supporting surface are attenuated, resulting in greater sound clarity and openness.
Optimal results are achieved by installing the GAIA isolators with the logo facing the listening position, or rotated 180 degrees, to align the isolators with the speaker’s motive forces. Lift and place the speakers into position, as the GAIA lower isolators will adhere to the supporting surface.
Designed for floor-standing speakers weighing up to 120 lbs or 54kg, the GAIA II will provide more openness and clarity, while reducing structure-borne noise. The GAIA II has a height of 26mm and includes M8, M6, and ¼-20 thread sizes.
Carpet Spikes
Designed to maintain stable support on carpet, the optional Carpet Spikes work with the GAIA II isolators to provide improved performance with thicker pile and carpet under pads.

I purchased a set of Gaia II Speaker Isolation footers for my beloved but aging Triangle Stratos Australes. Because of the uneven way Triangle supports their floorstanders, I had to build a plinth that I could bolt to both the speaker and the footers. The resutt: stunning. A huge step up in transparency, detail and clarity across all frequencies. The bass in particular tightened up enough that I had to make a small boost in the level of my subwoofers. These were $5500 speakers nearly 20 years ago, and now they're in another category entirely. Check the Isoacoustics website for the reason why: through testing by the National Research Council of Canada, they determined with careful measurements that these footers substantially reduce the vibrations in the speaker cabinet, reducing coloration from the cabinet and letting the drivers emit a cleaner, less distorted tone across the frequency spectrum. No snake oil here. Just one of the best upgrades to my system I've ever made.

Installing the Gaias on my Legacy Signature III's was not straightforward, with their down-facing woofers requiring that I track down and install appropriate outriggers so that these tall heavy speakers would not become unstable. I decided on aluminum ones from NSMT and am very happy with them.With so many changes I was a little nervous when it was finally time to listen. I really prize the smooth tonal balance of the Legacies and am extremely sensitive to peaky sound, but after a day to let everything settle in the sound is easily the best I’ve heard from my system. The Sig. III’s almost qualify as vintage at this point and I have auditioned many others over the years, some much more expensive, but have yet to find any to take their place, everything considered. The Gaia II’s as installed with the NSMT outriggers play to the Sig. III’s strengths, with much better defined deep and mid bass, increased openness across the spectrum with noticeably more clean information and only a slight diminution of the inviting sense of warmth, along with another layer or two of spaciousness. The Sig. III’s can sound “majestic” when everything is right, dramatic and big but intimate when called for, and all that is on display now more than ever. I now have the sound-tailoring switches (another plus with the Sig. III’s) all set for warmth, that will probably change as I fine tune placement, etc., but I couldn’t be more pleased with the Gaias.One thing, when I ordered the Gaia II's I thought…
