I have historically utilized linear power supplies to mitigate switching power supply noise. However, the iFi iPower Elite demonstrates superior noise performance compared to my existing linear power supplies. Consequently, I employ it to energize a GPS-disciplined clock for my Digital-to-Digital Converter (DDC). This solution is highly recommended for digital audio devices to effectively reduce jitter and enhance overall sound quality.

Actually I bought two of these units. One a fifteen volt and one a five volt. They both appear to well engineered and fabricated. They work well. They have no noise that I can hear and power the two devices I bought them for. Two Laiv Audio items. A Harmony Micro DAC and a Micro DDC. They give you what appears to well made interchangeable tips to plug into the power port. Even a center negative one. Comes in special and separate bag with a warning label.
Just two minor short comings. One, the unit should have a power switch. For my usage I would not really needed it. But to turn off power when you plug it into the device. Sparks can fly. Plug the adapter into the device, then plug from power supply into that. A switch would be best way to do it. Two, the power light. I don’t think my unit is defective, but LED is much brighter on the 15v vs the 5v unit. Which there can be 3rd minor short coming, the voltage is not marked on the two units. If it is, besides light brightness, it is not easy to see. I look at a few units that more amps, but the were more costly and too big.
Small, run cool and just plan work.
