I find I do like the overall sound better with my RS1e, but vastly prefer the G Cush for long term comfort. I wear my headphones most of the day so this may not apply to you. Wearing a few hours a day then the L Pads should be fine for you. Especially after softening them up with some shampoo and rinsing them out or something like that. Fabric softener probably works better but then you get that strong smell following you around everywhere. Overall the best pads IMO for certain Grado models for sound. But for long term comfort then it's G-Cush all the way.

I needed new pads and Moon Audio had them and got them to me in a reasonably quick timeline.

These pads are fine, but they’re made of foam and I wish they were covered with leather or some other fabric. Overall great! Thanks

L pads ok with Grado sr80 phones but original S pads more comfortable and provide smoother sound.
