As Fezz Audio's top model, the Lybra is a unique parallel single-ended (PSE) amplifier operating in class A. The PSE configuration delivers the classic 300B sound with higher output, making it extremely versatile and able to pair well with a broad selection of loudspeakers.
The Lybra was built using the highest quality toroidal transformers and was designed specifically for this amplifier. This guarantees linearity and a wide frequency response. By incorporating toroidal transformers into the Lybra 300B, Fezz Audio manages to produce better-sounding equipment at a lower cost than companies using traditional transformers. The 6SN7 and 12AX7 input tubes add to the character of Lybra, creating dynamic, impactful sound. Extended tube life is ensured by delayed anode voltage switching.

Toroidal Transformers For Exceptional Performance
Fezz Audio sets itself apart as a hifi manufacturer, incorporating toroidal transformer design into its power and output transformers. The quality of a tube amplifier is largely determined by the quality of its output transformers, and Toroidy, a sister company to Fezz Audio, supplies high-quality toroidal transformers designed specifically for their amplifiers and at a lower cost than even ordinary transformers from other vendors.
With far lower flux leakage and less radiated energy than standard transformers, toroidal transformers ensure that the Lybra 300B Amplifier's sensitive circuitry doesn't pick up any additional noise from the power supply. The result is extended bandwidth, flat frequency response, and low distortion.
