Elegant Design

User Guide
Apply film to the top and bottom. Any air bubbles should disappear after a few days. Insert the device and slide the side wings into the back plate leather. When removing the device, remove the wings, then slide the screen to the right.

The side of the case opens and tucks in like a box flap. Although the flap design was not what I expected, it allows you to easily insert the SR25 MKII and does not untuck during use :). I especially like that the case protects the SR***** around. I have seen another design that does not protect all the way around. And FWIW, it has 4 notches on the side for the SR25 MKII buttons, so it should not be used on the SR25. The reason being that the SR25 has the power button on top, not on the side.

I purchased the Dignis Artisan Series Case from Moon-Audio Cary NC along with the Astell and Kern SE100 digital audio player (DAP) JH Audio “ Lola” In Ear Monitors (IEMs) and Moon Audio Silver Dragon cables. Please see my amateur reviews of those products. I bought this case because it covered more of the player. The A&K case left more of the top and knob side exposed. I bought the brown leather case because I thought it would compliment the elegant design of the SE100. I feel brown will look better as it ages as long as I maintain it. The case goes on very easy fits perfectly and conforms to the shape of the player. To maintain the leather I use “Griots Garage” Leather 3-In-1 spray with a micro fiber cloth to clean and condition the case of oil from my hand. Occasionally I will use Griots Leather Conditioner ( probably an unnecessary step). I use this because its what I use in my cars and on leather house furniture. It doesn’t leave a sticky shiny or greasy residue. In addition after each use I use “Zeiss” lens cleaning wipes to clean my IEMs and the front glass of the SE100 with the case on. Just be careful not to wipe the case with the lens wipes. I noticed the alcohol can wipe a bit of die from the leather. Also I think the case like car seat leather comes with a coating that wears down over time. So as long as you do not abuse that coating you will have additional protection for the leather. Quality case. Stand is quite handy for viewing. Only 4 stars because power cord can’t be attached when stand is in use unless player is elevated like on the box it came in. Otherwise very nice.
