Cardas improved upon their Clear Light with the new Clear Cygnus Speaker Cable. Clear Cygnus is more revealing, more holographic, and more refined.
Matched Propagation conductors help to provide a very open and dynamic sound.
Can be internally bi-wired.
Conductors: Braided Matched Propagation Kevlar core, Grade 1, 99.9999% pure OFHC copper with SPN clear coat (Litz), gauge sizes scaled to Golden Ratio proportions. Cross-field layer geometry, insulated in a PTFE tape and an Electro-Dissipative dielectric.
Geometry: Concentrically braided four-conductor surrounded by anti-static fibrillated polypropylene fibers. The outside jacket is a soft and flexible TPE rubber.

Clear Cygnus internally bi-wired is extraordinary driving B&W 802D speakers. Absolutely neutral and free of coloration. Clearer quieter and totally free of that slightly dusty sound I hear in all non-Litz wire cables. An extended top end without the warmth coloration effect of some of the other Cardas cables just clean balanced and transparent. Incredibly powerful tight fast punchy bass. A really amazing value!

I purchased a pair of the Clear Cygnus and had a chance to compare with the Cardas Clear I borrowed from some one. I totally agree with the other reviewer (Robert B.) the Cygnus is very transparent tight & clear. It made the other Clear cables sound warmer/darker in comparison. I enjoy the Cygnus very much.
