Black Dragon Sound Signature

The Black Dragon is warm and smooth with a musical presentation. Copper strands enhance the body, shape, and immediacy of the music. The detail and expansiveness of the Black Dragon make it a flexible fit where a broad range of musical genres are played. It can also improve bass frequencies on bass-light headphones.

The smooth, musical quality makes it a perfect fit for headphones that tend to sound a bit edgy or bright. Despite its warmth, the Black Dragon does not have a laid back, lush sound. It is much closer to neutral, making it a very natural sounding cable.

Cable Design

The Black Dragon USB uses 99.999% pure copper 24AWG Teflon insulated stranded copper conductors with a double layer shield to ward off outside interference.

Standard USB cables are not up to the task of large bit rate information. Drew has optimized this cable for audio transmission of large High Rez files.

USB cables can make big a difference and the Black Dragon is one heck of a bang for the buck cable.

The cable uses 99.99998% UP-OCC Stranded Copper 28AWG Teflon insulated stranded conductors for the data legs with a double layer shield to ward off outside interference. The 2 power conductors utilize 2 x 99.99998% UP-OCC Stranded Copper 28AWG Teflon insulated stranded conductors for seamless power supply.

Standard USB cables are not up to the task of large bit rate information so Moon Audio has optimized this cable for audio transmission of large High Res files. We recommend using Apps such as Flac Player and the ONKYO HF Player. These will allow you to play your higher resolution files.

Make sure to always rip your Audio to iTunes™ or other audio software in either Wav or Flac format for best results. The cable is made to carry a digital signal from an Apple iDevice such as an iTouch, iPhone or iPad to another digital audio device.
