Upgrade your Ultimate Ears Triple Fi in-ear monitors with a 48" Black Dragon IEM V1 cable. The Black Dragon is great for adding bottom-end weight to your IEMs for a fuller-bodied sound. Copper conductors will warm the bass and midrange tones and smooth out the upper frequencies without sacrificing detail. The Black Dragon is appropriate for most genres, but works especially well with Electronica, Dance, Pop, Rap, R&B, and other music where a big, bold presentation is desired.
Our Dragon IEM cables are designed to be lightweight and flexible for ease of use in professional or consumer applications. The Black Dragon IEM Cable for Ultimate Ears Triple Fi comes in one length: 48 inches. However, you may choose from many available amplifier connection options to customize your portable IEM setup. Quality You Can Trust
Most stock headphone cables are made of poor, ultra-thin conductors that work as a bottleneck for sound. Poor geometries, no shielding, rubber jackets, and a whole host of other issues in OEM cables can limit the performance of the headphone driver in terms of clarity and definition.

All of our cables are created with ultra-pure, single-crystal silver and copper strands and engineered to provide the cleanest, most musical presentation. Our wire is free from impurities and has crystalline boundaries, leaving nothing between you and your music.
TripleFi IEM Connector
This cable features a proprietary 2-pin connector with a form that is a bit larger than many IEMs. It is used on Triple Fi and Super Fi IEMs from Ultimate Ears.
This cable is not compatible with UE Pro series IEMs. It is only available in 48" Length.
Cable Design
The Black Dragon V1 IEM cable is a coaxial design using a 7N purity 99.99998% UP-OCC stranded copper 26AWG center conductor for the positive leg. The center conductor is wrapped concentrically by a 99.99998% UP-OCC pure copper stranded 26AWG gauge conductor with 7N purity 99.99998%, and it features Kevlar reinforcing. The left and right signal cables run parallel to each other, resulting in a very low inductance. Both signal jackets are polyethylene, and the cable is extremely flexible yet very resilient and resistant to flex failure.
This cable can be used with a variety of different connectors, both balanced and unbalanced, such as a 3.5mm TRS Mini plug, 2.5mm TRRS Balanced Plug, or 4.4mm TRRRS Balanced Plug. As always, we custom-build this cable in-house using high-quality Cardas silver solder.
What is UP-OCC?
UP-OCC stands for Ultra Pure Ohno Continuous Casting (OCC). This is not a material but a way of extruding silver and copper to prevent any impurities and fractures in the crystalline structure of the wire. The wire is drawn very slowly to cast as an almost perfect single crystal small-diameter conductor. The resulting purity and the size of the cast wire make a tremendous difference, and there is less damage to the near-perfect cast state. We find that this UP-OCC process produces a very clean and close to neutral sound in our copper-based and silver-based cables.
Connecting the Silver Dragon IEM Cable
- Red: Right Channel
- Blue: Left Channel
- Dots should always point up
With the red dot facing upward, slide the connector straight into the right IEM until flush with the shell. Repeat with the blue dot and the left IEM.

The sending to Norway was very fast. Just a few days. Out of the box i heard the diffirence right away compare to the other cabel. The sound is more clear, crisp in the trebel. Overall more open. Quality on cabel seems very good, its a bit stiff, but around ears its easy to fit.
