The Black Dragon Speaker Cable is a smooth, transparent-sounding cable that falls on the warm side of neutral, yet is very dynamic. This cable has a full presentation that adds body and warmth to your music without making it sound laid back or lush. It utilizes 4 x 11 AWG ultra-pure, slow-drawn annealed and enamel-coated copper conductors that smooth out the top end while adding bottom-end weight, making the midrange sound more musical. It is generally pretty flexible given the size of the conductors. Each strand acts as its own conductor due to the enamel coating, thus reducing skin effect. It's a great cable for vocals and a variety of music genres. Available in a variety of lengths and terminations, the Black Dragon Speaker Cable can be configured in standard, biwire, or biwire/biamp by custom request.
Quality You Can Trust
Most stock headphone cables are made of poor, ultra-thin conductors that work as a bottleneck for sound. Poor geometries, no shielding, rubber jackets, and a whole host of other issues in OEM cables can limit the performance of the headphone driver in terms of clarity and definition.

Black Dragon Sound Signature
The Black Dragon is our top-of-the-line flagship cable designed to increase musicality and provide a warmer tonality with amazing bass performance. Copper strands increase the boldness by providing more slam and attack. It smooths out and provides a more romantic sound signature. A great way to get lost in the music.
The Black Dragon pairs well with all genres, especially Classical, Blues, Rock & Roll, R&B, and anything with a toe-tapping beat like EDM and Dance music. That being said, the Black Dragon can be paired with many other genres as well. If you love to get lost in the music and want to feel like you are at the performance, then this is the cable for you. Cable Design
The Black Dragon has been designed to complement our Silver line. We had many requests from our customers with systems where Silver wasn't an ideal fit, so we set out to make the best possible copper cables to fit their needs. The results exceeded our wildest dreams!
In the Black Dragon, you'll find an extremely smooth, transparent cable that's not too warm-sounding. For years, our hearing tastes have driven us toward silver, never quite appreciating the sound of copper to the same degree. Now that has changed!
We tried to build a cable with the great detail and presence of silver, yet also provided the smooth, jazzy sound of copper. The Black Dragon V1 does just that. Only your ears can be the judge.
We took what we learned from the Silver Dragon Speaker cables, using just the right ratio of size stranding to optimize the sound. We ended up with a new geometry, using a special stranded grouping. The copper strandings are all 99.9999% high-quality, low-crystalline structure, pure copper. There are 4x11awg conductors. A standard run will yield approximately 2x6awg conductors, and the bi-wire will yield 4x11awg conductors.
The Black Dragon uses an internal bi-wire design, which will help cut costs for those of you who want to run bi-wire. We continued to use Teflon coating, as it is the best dielectric. We then cover it in a protective layer of Techflex and solder your connector of choice.

Bought these to hook up some Wilson Sabrina X speakers. Not a believer in the cable mumbo jumbo that would have me pay $$$$ for the big brand cables. These are well-made with Cardas connectors and are great value for money. Smooth sound with good bass and treble extension without being harsh. Still running them in but so far so good. Boy these speakers sound great.

Replaced a speaker cable that had received a 5 star review and was awarded a 2020 product of the year by media. After breaking this cable in, I can say Wow! These Black Dragon speaker cables improved my sound quality dramatically over the cable it replaced. The Black Dragon added weight and body that the other cable didn't deliver on yet maintained the transparency the other cable provided. Best way to describe the Black Dragon in my system is a full bodied sound, great musicality, a touch of warmth, and great transparency. Highly recommended. This Black Dragon speaker cable is paired with a Black Dragon interconnect. Now on to test the Black Dragon speaker jumpers.
