Silver Dragon Portable Interconnect V3
The New Version 3 of the Silver Dragon Portable Interconnect Cable uses 4 x 99.99998% UP-OCC Stranded Silver 24AWG Teflon insulated stranded conductors. The previous version used 4 x 99.998% Ultra Pure Silver 24AWG Teflon insulated stranded conductors; thus, we have stepped up the purity to the purist available by today's technology.
We have improved the conductors properties over the previous Version 2 cable as these conductors are free from impurities and have virtually no crystal boundaries. The conductors have almost no distortion compared to ordinary silver conductors.
Each conductor is made up of a special varying sized stranded geometry. The silver stranding's are mixed with Kevlar standing's to reinforce the conductor. Making it stronger overall and less prone to failure due to the harsh constant flexing that headphone cable experience.
Each conductor is encapsulated in a Teflon casing.
The conductors are then surrounded by cotton and a thin layer of Aluminum Foil.
It is then protected by a 100% coverage silver plated copper secondary shield and placed in a polyethylene jacket for further protection.
To improve it's flexibility we are no longer using a Techflex jacket as we did with our previous versions.
Dual runs of the Silver Dragon Wire are used for the Portable Interconnect Design.
A variety of connection options are available for your downstream connection such as the mini plug, RCA, XLR and many others. We custom build these in house to your connection specification. The Standard setup is shown below with Cardas GRCM RCA's. The wire is soldered to a connectors using high quality Cardas silver solder.

I listen to 24/96 flac files (Little Girl Bluefrom Nina Simone; down loads from Soundliaison; Rachmaninoff Orchestral Music; Minnesota from Reference Recording) for a period of 4 weeks (all components should be burned in)
Overall impression was a clearer and wider sound. The voice from Nina sounded much better with this cable. Since I got the PONO at FRYS for $250 instead of $400, I took the risk for this cable and I am happy that I did! It creates an enjoyable sound.
Build quality is top-notch, although the cable itself is stiffer than I expected (just an observation, not a fault). Terminations are all excellent and I definitely feel like this will be an interconnect that lasts as long or longer than any of my gear. The impact on sound is just what I wanted--clean, clear, with that brightness that silver can bring.
It's not an inexpensive interconnect, but it's a really great performer for me. Would buy again without hesitation if this one gets lost or a wolf chews it in half (can't imagine it would fail in any other way).
(1) I would like to send the audio "balanced" signal of my AK Sp1000 via the 2.5mm TRRS jack to a receiver's analog RCAs (left and right). From what I read, an AK PEE11 is needed as you need an additional ground from AK's 3.5mm jack. Is this correct?
(2) The other question is that the Cardas GRCS Straight RCA has two connections for my receiver's analog left and right RCA?
(3) Finally, will this PEE11 work with the new AK SP2000 also?
