Ken: Great Audio Geek

Describe Your Current Gear

I have an AKG K701, HD6XX, Cavalli Tube Hybrid, and a Schiit Gungnir DS. I'm using stock cables and some RCA interconnects that I found lying around. I like to browse Head-fi quite often and I usually get my gear recommendations from the forums.

Musical Moment

I used to be in an orchestra throughout my high school days, and I've made numerous irreplaceable memories while playing and listening to music with other members of the orchestra. I'm still in regular contact with a few of them to this day.

Favorite Bands

I really enjoy female vocal jazz so my top 3 would be: Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Krall, and Dianne Reeves.

Hi-Fi Intro

My friend pointed out a headphone on sale on Amazon that was featured in a TV show, and I just so happened to be looking for a headphone at that time so I purchased it--the AKG K701. I still keep it to this day since it's an awesome headphone and also a reminder of where I started.

Audio Passion in One Sentence

As much as I love experiencing music through my personal audio setup, I wish to be able to reach more people and convey my thoughts to others that may be seeking to better their listening experience.
