A DAC THAT WORKS WITH EVERYTHING

The IDAC 6-MK2 has 6 inputs that cover all commonly available digital audio interfaces: I2S, USB Audio, AES/EBU, Coaxial (BNC), Coaxial (RCA), and Optical. The 6-MK2 is also compatible with both Windows and MAC operating systems. A DAC FOR THE CORE AUDIOPHILE

The IDAC 6-MK2 is designed around the ES9028Pro, which is a 32-bit, 8-channel DAC developed for the most demanding audiophile/enthusiast. Despite newer DACs in circulation, the 9038Pro is still considered flagship-level performance, and has outstanding digital capability with stellar dynamic range at 129dB. The DAC also supports up to DSD512 and PCM 768kHz/32-bit. Cayin carefuly selects and tunes their premium components to work seamlessly with the IDAC 6-MK2 to achieve the popular Cayin house sound.

The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. The IDAC 6-MK2 has three extremely low-noise high precision femtosecond oscillators, allowing your music to shine and be as accurate as possible. Low jitter, high-precision digital audio transmission is the base of all high quality digital and analog conversion. Cayin delivers this as a natural and musical sound to the complete audio system through the IDAC.

Options for both single-ended and balanced applications.
4 miniature 6H16B tubes in the tube buffer stage: two for single-ended and two for balanced.
Applicable to both line out and pre-out.
7 FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filters for PCM source.
4 IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filters for DSD source.

DUAL OUTPUT

Two outputs for different applications.

Standard DAC line out, dedicated pre-amp output.
Line out: fixed level for pre-amp, integrated amplifier, or headphone amplifier.
RCA single-ended output (2.2V)
XLR balanced output (4.4V)

Pre-out: variable output for power amplifier or active speakers. RCA single-ended output (up to 7V) and XLR balanced output (up to 13V). The IDAC 6-MK2 also has a 99-step precision volume control.

Beauty and function: the IDAC 6-MK2 is both good-looking and good-sounding. The CNC machined aluminum alloy is created with the finest sandblasting finish, which does double-duty in coating the DAC in a premium finish while also effectively reducing noise interference.
3.95-inch AMOLED display shows off the newly designed graphical user interface.
The IDAC is a new member to the i-Series Personal Audio stack from Cayin.
