Pricing is per foot...enter number of feet above in the quantity field.

The cable uses a 4 x 24AWG Teflon insulated stranded conductors using pure single crystallized UP-OCC pure copper with 7N purity 99.99998%.

There are 2 colors to choose from. The current darker version, which was made darker as we no longer are using Techflex. Or if you want the previous look choose the light version and we include Black Techflex with this version.

Each conductor is made up of a special varying size stranding geometry. The copper stranding is mixed with Kevlar stranding to reinforce the conductor. Making it stronger overall and less prone to failure due to the harsh constant flexing a headphone cable receives. The conductors are then surrounded by cotton and then a layer of Teflon tape. The new version is now also shielded and placed in a polyethylene jacket for further protection.

Don’t fear this Dragon
Easy enough to work with, and after a “burn-in” period in line with the dielectric, the sound really came alive.
Still playing with various MMCX, and 1/8” phone plugs, before ordering more Dragon to build a final cable.

I like surprises....
.....especially on the positive side. Got the bulk Blue Dragon wire on a Friday afternoon. Prepped and built my IEM cable before supper time; easy to work with, no dielectric shrinkage (I use eutectic silver bearing solder), nice flexibility. My current IEMs are Westone W40s. Used an old iPod to "burn in" the cable until I stopped it Sunday evening.
Put the W40 buds back on an original Westone cable, and listened to a few select passages from material I know backwards, and forwards. "Lather, rinse, repeat" with the Blue Dragon cable.
Night and day. OK, maybe more like night and dawn. Extension, sound stage, and articulation are much, much better than the stock cable. Very close to the Cardas 4x24 cable.More listening required
Some connector comparison is required before a final DaveCo (that be me) build is potted and sealed, but I'm betting in a few weeks I'll be ordering the Black Dragon to see (?) what I can hear.
