Upgrade your FitEar in-ear monitors with a Black Dragon IEM V1 cable. The Black Dragon is great for adding bottom-end weight to your IEMs for a more full-bodied sound. This copper-based cable will warm the bass and midrange tones and smooth out the upper frequencies without sacrificing detail. You'll get a more musical presentation with added soundstage depth. The Black Dragon is appropriate for most genres, but works especially well with Electronica, Dance, Pop, Rap, R&B, and other music where a big, bold presentation is desired.
Our Dragon IEM cables are designed to be lightweight and flexible for ease of use in professional or consumer applications. The Black Dragon IEM Cable for FitEar comes in one length: 48 inches. However, you may choose from many available amplifier connection options to customize your portable IEM setup. Throw out your stock cable and level up to a Dragon IEM cable. You'll fall in love with your in-ear monitors all over again!

Most stock headphone cables are made of poor, ultra-thin conductors that work as a bottleneck for sound. Poor geometries, no shielding, rubber jackets, and a whole host of other issues in OEM cables can limit the performance of the headphone driver in terms of clarity and definition.
Dragon Cables are handcrafted from quality materials in Moon Audio's headquarters in Cary, North Carolina. All of our cables are created with ultra-pure, single-crystal silver and copper strands and engineered to provide the cleanest, most musical presentation. Our wire is void of impurities and crystalline boundaries, leaving nothing between you and your music.
The Black Dragon is warm and smooth with a musical presentation. Copper strands enhance the body, shape, and immediacy of the music. The detail and expansiveness of the Black Dragon make it a flexible fit where a broad range of musical genres are played. It can also improve bass frequencies on bass-light headphones.
The smooth, musical quality makes it a perfect fit for headphones that tend to sound a bit edgy or bright. Despite its warmth, the Black Dragon does not have a laid back, lush sound. It is much closer to neutral, making it a very natural sounding cable.

This cable uses a proprietary 2-pin connector designed for FitEar in-ear monitors. It is compatible with FitEar custom and universal IEMs, including the Aya, MH334, MH335DW, Parterre, and many more.
The Black Dragon V1 IEM cable is a coaxial design using a 7N purity 99.99998% UP-OCC stranded copper 26AWG center conductor for the positive leg.The center conductor is wrapped concentrically by a 99.99998% UP-OCC pure copper stranded 26AWG gauge conductor with 7N purity 99.99998%, and it features Kevlar reinforcing. The left and right signal cables run parallel to each other resulting in a very low inductance. Both signal jackets are polyethylene and the cable is extremely flexible yet very resilient and resistant to flex failure.
This cable can be used with a variety of different connectors, both balanced and unbalanced, such as a 3.5mm TRS Mini plug, 2.5mm TRRS Balanced Plug, or 4.4mm TRRRS Balanced Plug. As always, we custom build this cable in house using high-quality Cardas silver solder.
What is UP-OCC?UP-OCC stands for Ultra Pure Ohno Continuous Casting (OCC). This is not a material but a way of extruding silver and copper to prevent any impurities and fractures in the crystalline structure of the wire. The wire is drawn very slowly to cast as an almost perfect single crystal small diameter conductor. The resulting purity and the size of the cast wire makes a tremendous difference and there is less damage to the near-perfect cast state. We find this UP-OCC process produces a very clean and close to neutral sound in our copper- based and silver-based cables.
With the red dot facing upward, slide the connector straight into the right IEM until flush with the shell. Repeat with the blue dot and the left IEM.
"I knew Drew was also a FitEar customer, and, much to my amazement, he'd already made a custom over-molded connector specifically for FitEar IEMs; so I ordered a Moon Audio Silver Dragon cable for the FitEar MH334 Custom, and also a custom Silver Dragon cable for the upcoming Shure SE846 while I was at it."Jude Mansilla, 2013 Head-Fi Winter Gift Guide (Cables & Accessories), Head-Fi, Nov. 29, 2013
