For strength and stability, an aluminum housing has been used to achieve high rigidity so that dynamic sound is clear and on target. The newly developed Acoustic Optimizer provides optimum acoustic characteristics by adjusting the sound pressure balance in front of and behind the diaphragm. Sound is more dynamic yielding clear bass with proper balance at the low to mid frequency range.

For improved performance, high purity OFC cables of equal length for both channels are used to maintain optimum sound quality. Additionally an aluminum connector cover is used for strength and durability. For connectivity a gold-plated stereo mini jack is employed. The tangle-resistant non-twisted cable provides less hassle and makes for easy storage.

For comfort and convenience, the AH-C751K comes with 3 sizes of earpieces to be sure you have the size that fits your ears. Warranty is one year.

    Good earphones Review by LT

These earphones appear to be well made. The way that they fit is a bit unusual. I noticed that some other reviewers on Amazon had some problems with the fit.

What I found is that the silicon eartips did not work for me. Instead, I substituted Comply Comfort foam tips. I got the necessary seal that way. Once I did that, I got very good performance from these earphones.

These earphones are reasonably clear and have a pretty good response across the spectrum. Unlike so many earphones, these have a good bass response. The exterior sound chamber appears to be made of aluminum and the wires seem very flexible and quite hardy. I did not notice any problem with unwanted microphonic problems with the cables. I really liked the Klipsch Custom 3 (also with a peculiar fit problem solved for me with Shure foam tips), but the wires literally picked up and amplified noise when they rubbed across the front of my chest. No problem with the Denons.

In short, these are good earphones from the money, You can certainly get better, but you will have to pay for it. I don't believe that these earphones come with case, but you can certainly get them inexpensively from Amazon.

Lastly, I would say not to be discouraged if you get an earphone that does not necessarily fit your own unique ear canals. There are usually a number of very affordable tips that can fit virtually any earphone and it can make a big difference in performance. If you are willing to pay the $189.00 for these earphones, you are already a serious listener or music. It is worth taking that extra step. (Posted on 2/22/12)
