CF-763SM (R) 6.3mm Stereo Connector

This will be an unusual review. I own an audiophile quality recording studio. We record up to DSD256 so every improvement in sound matters. I’ve been testing different high end instrument cables to see how much they differ from the expensive brands carried in stores (like Mogami platinum.) There is a big difference but most of the great instrument cables are no longer made. So I decided to push it further with this purchase. What would happen if I used the best instrument cable still available used Mundorf silver / gold audiophile solder and Furutech’s very best ends? The result is pretty shocking. I have around 15 exceptional guitar amps at the studio. Almost every one of these has the very best parts possible and NOS tubes by the best manufacturer for that amp. So really dialed in. There were two amps that were pretty mediocre compared to the rest. Even with the van den hul instrument cable which is largely considered the best cable ever made (but no longer available.). But with this new cable those amps took a huge leap in performance. With the Mesa Boogie Mk I it went from bland to never ending sustain like Carlos Santana. I was planning to sell both amps but no more. I think every amp sounded notably better with this cable. There is only one downside. This jack is stereo and it does create problems for some guitar and amp jacks. I know furutech makes a mono phone jack but it also is not as good of quality as this one. I may contact Furutech to see if they will make…
