This is the new Blue Dragon Headphone Version 3 headphone replacement cable for Sennheiser HD-800 ,HD-650, HD-600 and HD-580 headphones and any other Sennheiser headphones that have the 2 pin connection system.

We also use it for the Ultrasone, Sony Qualia, AKG Pro Series and any other headphone that uses a connector attachment system. This cable can also be hard wired to Grado's, AKG, and Audio Technica, etc. etc.

Each conductor is made up of a special varying size stranding geometry. The copper stranding is mixed with Kevlar stranding to reinforce the conductor. Making it stronger overall and less prone to failure due to the harsh constant flexing a headphone cable receives.

The conductors are then surrounded by cotton and then a layer of Teflon tape.

The new version is now also shielded and placed in a polyethylene jacket for further protection.

The Version 3 is quieter than the Version 2 with no microphonics.

Pro900 + Blue Dragon…no more sibilance Review by dannybai

I really love the Pro900's, but the sibilance really deters me from listening to them. I paired them with the Blue Dragon cable and like magic, the sibilance pretty much is gone now. The build quality is excellent and I couldn't be more happier with how the sound just smoothed out. The bass has more punch and impact but the trebles are not fatiguing and sibilant anymore. Highly recommended for those who have the same issues with the Pro900's and I know many feel the same about the Pro900's as I do. (Posted on 3/26/12)
