Our passion for audio is relevant in every product we make.  We only buy, manufacture and sell the highest quality products available in our price range year after year.  We have very high standards here at Moon Audio and we hope you will take notice each time you buy one of our products.  We make sure that each product has extreme detail orientation, the highest quality materials are used and the highest quality workmanship has been completed on each and every one of our handmade audio cables and modified headphones.  

Our passion is to bring the marketplace unequalled workmanship and quality at an affordable price.  We sell direct in the U.S. and abroad so that we can live up to this promise of affordability as its important to us for the average family to be able to enjoy their passion for music and entertainment like we do.  We believe in the "old school" way of manufacturing here which is why each product that we manufacture is made by hand, by skilled artisans who take the time and detail to make each piece to our precise specifications.   We believe this is the difference in our audio cables and we ask you to try them and see and hear the difference for yourself!  :)  We have a generous "try me" policy so we hope you take the opportunity to do this today!  

How it all went down...

Drew's love for music and audio go back to his days in high school when he began work as a DJ.  Music was always prevalent in his life and tinkering with audio equipment was his favorite pastime.  

Drew became an engineer from schooling at Penn State and worked privately for 18 years.  Around 2003, Drew needed new audio cables for his home theater and had $1000 cable taste no budget to buy them.  So he decided to buy the DIY supplies and make them himself.  When he finished, he had some leftover cables and ebay had just been created so he put them up for sale.  They all sold within a few days and a lightbulb went off and Drew's creativity blossomed.  At first he looked at this business as a hobby income, but quickly he could see that audio enthusiasts wanted and were willing to pay for "custom cables".  At the time, there were no cable companies providing this niche to the audiophile marketplace as they manufactured their cables overseas in standard configurations.  More and more, customers were asking for custom configurations and with the introduction of the IPOD, portable audio became much more mainstream and even more avenues for connectivity were needed.

During this time, Head-fi.org was created which is now the largest headphone community forum on the internet. Several members asked Drew to recable their headphones with Moon Audio's line of Dragon cables.  Headphones soon became one of Drew's favorite pieces of audiophile gear to tinker with.  He noticed that most headphone manufacturers spent most of their R&D on their headphone driver design and left the cable design as an afterthought.  Just like changing a dirty air filter in your car, an improved cable geometry will let the headphone drivers breathe easier.

Fast forward to the present, Moon Audio's expertise is in the Headphone Audio & Custom Cabling arena.  Our company motto is "if it can be built, we will build it".  We look forward to the future and we hope you are a part of it.

OPEN Most Days about 9 or 10

Occasionally as early as 7, But SOME DAYS

As Late as 12 or 1.

WE CLOSE about 5:30 or 6

Occasionally about 4 or 5, BUT

Sometimes as late as 11 or 12.
