 Cable Retermination

Happy with your old cables, but need to repair them or just want to upgrade the connectors?

I can do all the above and more. I can take long interconnects or speaker wire and cut them up into shorter lengths to make multiple pairs. I have all kinds of termination types for any type of cable. I can cover scuffed up cables with new braiding so that they look new with the benefit of being broken in. Or are you looking for something totally custom for a difficult connection, I can do it! I use high Quality WBT silver solder for all terminations. I spray down all connectors with DeOxit it then ProGold conditioning spray to protect from oxidation. Give me a call. If I cant do it I'll find you a solution.

Price will vary on cable.

Here is an example of a Distech silver cable with Tiffany RCA's. The cable is a great design with 4 dive gauge solid core silver strands per lead. The termination was coming apart and to be quite honest they are pretty ugly cables but produced a top notch sound. I replaced them with rhodium over silver plated Cards connectors and covered them in a blue Techflex:

Here is an example of a Norwest "Red Dawn" cable that was to be changed from Neoteric RCA's to Neoteric X-HD XL connectors

These were challenging. A 32' NBS Statement II XLR cable (That's a $1000/ft cable) was cut into a 12' pair, 2-6' pair and 2-3' pair.

Not an easy job!!! But all reterminations were done exactly to the same specifications as original.

FMS Blue 3, original connectors where worn out and extremely oxidize.
