The AH-D5000 has been designed for music lovers who want to enjoy a realistic sound in complete peace. The enclosures employ housings made of natural wood Mahogany with superior acoustic characteristics that are rich with a broad, natural sound. Mahogany is a very popular material for drum making and guitars because of its great integrity and capability to produce very dark, warm tones compared to other more common wood types like maple or birch. Along with its acoustic characteristics, mahogany's light weight makes it an excellent headphone material as well.
A micro-fiber has been used to form the diaphragm so that it faithfully reproduces the sonic details and delicate reverberations that occur in concert halls. The size of the micro-fibers is approximately 1/100 that of natural cellulose used in ordinary diaphragms, and with this density, transmission rates are increased. In comparison, Micro-fiber diaphragms are (x20,000) and natural cellulose fiber diaphragms are (x150).

The acoustic optimizer provides optimum acoustic characteristics by adjusting the sound pressure balance in front of and behind the diaphragm. This makes the sound more dynamic, provides clear bass, and also keeps balance at low to mid frequency ranges.

The cable used is made of high purity 99.9% 7N OFC cable and employs an aluminum connector cover and a cloth mesh jacket. High-quality cables of equal length for the L/R channels are used to maintain optimum sound quality and performance.

Additionally the AH-D5000 headphones use a light-weight magnesium frame. This frame lets listeners enjoy maximum comfort during extended listening sessions. Warranty is one year.

The superior headphone housing used in the AH-D2000 to produce high quality sound is made of materials yielding exceptional acoustic characteristics ensuring faithful reproduction of the original sound. Compound metal is used to increase density, making the sound more stable and clear.
Micro-fiber material has been used to form the diaphragm so that it faithfully reproduces the sonic details and delicate reverberations that occur in concert halls. The size of micro-fiber is approx. 1/100 of natural cellulose used in ordinary diaphragms, and its density increases transmission rates.

Optimum acoustic characteristics are achieved by adjusting the sound pressure balance in front of and behind the diaphragm with the acoustic optimizer design. To provide a sonically clean performance, a balance of low to mid range frequencies is critical and dynamic clear bass is a must; the acoustic optimizer delivers both.

The AH-C700 reference series headphones are sound isolating canal-type inner ear headphones which will reduce ambient noise allowing you to enjoy more of the music than ever before. For strength and stability, an aluminum housing has been used to achieve high rigidity so that dynamic sound is clear and on target.
The newly developed Acoustic Optimizer provides optimum acoustic characteristics by adjusting the sound pressure balance in front of and behind the diaphragm. Sound is more dynamic yielding clear bass with proper balance at the low to mid frequency range.

For improved performance, high purity OFC cables of equal length for both channels are used to maintain optimum sound quality. Additionally an aluminum connector cover is used for strength and durability. For connectivity a gold-plated stereo mini jack is employed. The tangle-resistant non-twisted cable provides less hassle and makes for easy storage.
