This all new, George Cardas designed and manufactured

adapter merges a female RCA connector to a female XLR.

It features Rhodium contact surfaces. Pure, non-magnetic,

eutectic billet brass, Gold and Rhodium over Silver platings.

These connectors have a unique end shielding technique that

blocks RF and Clock signals.

ROSIN FLUX

1 oz. activated, rosin flux, soldering paste. Activated rosin flux is ideal for most applications where components are not washed after soldering. The rosin actually works as a protective coating. Cardas also supplies water soluble, organic based Flux. Circuit board manufacturers use organic flux for the clean finish it produces, however, all joints must be washed in a special bath, after soldering, to prevent corrosion.

Cardas RCA Caps (RCA C) fit over unused female RCA connectors in your system to eliminate EMI and RF noise absorption. Unlike traditional shorting plugs, these caps do not short the inputs (many pre amps do not like having their inputs shorted).

Some manufacturers ship them with their preamps. With the RCA SP SS the user can decide to either short or not short inputs. Generally outputs prefer not being shorted.
