PocketDock Line Out USB

The PocketDock with Line Out and USB lets you connect the iPod’s or iPhone’s docking port to a standard USB cable. No need to carry the special docking cable — the tiny PocketDock easily fits in your wallet, so you’ll never miss a connection again.

When you’re on the road with your iPod, listening to your favorite hits, you may unexpectedly want to connect to another Mac or PC. When you need it most, you’ll probably find that you didn’t bring the special iPod docking cable — it’s at home connected to your computer. Since you can find USB cables almost anywhere — just unplug a printer or scanner — the PocketDock Line Out USB lets you get connected, anytime, anyplace.

But what about connecting your iPod to an external amplifier or stereo system? It still meant either carrying the bulky Dock, or compromising on sound quality by using the iPod’s headphone jack. ROSIN FLUX

1 oz. activated, rosin flux, soldering paste. Activated rosin flux is ideal for most applications where components are not washed after soldering. The rosin actually works as a protective coating. Cardas also supplies water soluble, organic based Flux. Circuit board manufacturers use organic flux for the clean finish it produces, however, all joints must be washed in a special bath, after soldering, to prevent corrosion.

Cardas RCA Caps (RCA C) fit over unused female RCA connectors in your system to eliminate EMI and RF noise absorption. Unlike traditional shorting plugs, these caps do not short the inputs (many pre amps do not like having their inputs shorted).

RCAC SP SS

Signature Series RCA Shorting Pin Caps (RCA C SP SS) can be used to short out an input RCA. This is desirable on some equipment to lower the noise floor. Some manufacturers ship them with their preamps. With the RCA SP SS the user can decide to either short or not short inputs. Generally outputs prefer not being shorted. Billet brass, nickel plated caps fit over unused female RCA connectors to shield against RFI, EMI, dust and corrosion. Sold in sets of two.
